Short base stationary ball bearing units consist of a housing bearing mounted in a cast iron housing. This type has threads for mounting bolts and is used in both constant and variable direction rotation conditions. The inner ring is expanded on both sides and is fixed to the shaft by tightening the set screw on the inner ring, which simplifies installation.
