Belts provide a very efficient and economical method of transmitting power from the driving to the driven equipment. The teeth on the inside of these classic V-belts without sidewall wrapping allow the belts to bend around smaller pulleys. Belts without sidewall wrapping can provide higher friction and minimize power losses due to slippage. The EPDM synthetic rubber cushion significantly increases the service life of the belt drives when operating in high ambient temperatures.
