Belts provide a very efficient and economical method of transmitting torque from the drive to the driven equipment. Double classic (hexagonal) V-belts are similar to a pair of mirror-image V-belts with a strong cord connection in the widest part of the belt. Due to their design, the belts transmit torque from both sides with an even load distribution and without additional belt wear.
