Belts provide a very efficient and economical method of transmitting power from the drive to the driven equipment. Classic toothed timing belts have teeth that mesh with corresponding grooves on the pulleys to ensure a constant gear ratio. Low-stretch fiberglass cords provide excellent dimensional stability. The oil- and heat-resistant neoprene rubber cushion provides high shear resistance. The belt bushing can be cut to the desired belt width.
