Bushings and hubs are available in a variety of designs and provide specific benefits in industrial transmission applications, ranging from automotive to pulp and paper. QD (Quick Disconnect) bushings feature a split, heavy-duty flange design with a tapered outside diameter that matches the bore of a pulley, sprocket or coupling. The bushings are easy to install and, once tightened, provide a clamping force on the shaft equivalent to a shrink fit with interference fit.
