Flex flexible couplings (with flexible shell) are designed to accommodate misalignment and shock loads, and reduce vibration. These easy-to-install and virtually maintenance-free couplings consist of 2 flanges and 1 shell. The flanges are phosphate coated for increased corrosion resistance, and the flexible shells are available in natural rubber or chloroprene for flame retardancy and anti-static properties (FRAS). Couplings with a tapered bore are available with face (F) or hub (H) mounting.
