Single-row cylindrical roller bearings are designed for heavy radial loads in combination with high speeds. Due to the tapered bore, the bearings are mounted on a tapered seat on the shaft, or on a cylindrical seat using a clamping or withdrawal sleeve. With two integral flanges on the outer ring and no flanges on the inner ring, type NU bearings withstand axial displacement in both directions. An important feature is the split design, which simplifies installation and allows replacement of bearing components.
