Inner rings for needle roller bearings are supplied as separate components. They are typically used in conjunction with needle roller and cage assemblies or drawn cup needle roller bearings where shaft grinding and hardening are not possible. LR series inner rings can be used to produce more economical bearing assemblies where larger runout and width tolerances are not as important.
