Precision lock nuts type KMTA have a cylindrical outer surface and are designed for applications requiring high precision, easy assembly and reliable fixation. Three equally spaced locking pins allow these nuts to be oriented exactly at right angles to the shaft. In addition, they can also be used for adjustment to compensate for small angular deviations of mating parts. Maximum axial runout of the nut locking plane relative to the thread axis (up to size 40): 0.005 mm.
