Needle roller and cage assemblies are ready-to-mount individual bearing unit components without inner and outer rings. In cases where the shaft and housing bore can act as raceways, such assemblies can be used to create bearing units that require minimal radial space. Since the bearing unit clearance is affected only by the roller sorting and the quality of the shaft and housing machining, precision bearing units can be produced.
