These three-bolt flanged ball bearing units comply with Japanese Industrial Standards (JIS). They consist of a bearing housing with an extended inner ring and are secured to the shaft by a adapter sleeve, allowing the bearing to operate at higher speeds and improving smoothness on shafts rotating in the same direction or alternating in different directions. The bearing is mounted in a cast iron housing, which is bolted to the machine frame or chassis. The adapter sleeve is not included with the unit and must be ordered separately.
