These square flange ball bearing units are designed for high temperature applications and meet ISO standards. They consist of a high temperature insert bearing with an extended inner ring and set screw locking, and are suitable for either constant or alternating direction applications. The bearing is mounted in a cast iron housing that is bolted to the machine frame or chassis. Ball bearing units are capable of accommodating moderate initial misalignment, but are generally not capable of accommodating axial displacement.
