These high-precision, high-speed, single-row angular contact ball bearings of the E design can accommodate both radial and axial loads when the axial load acts in one direction only. They are designed for high speed applications and, compared with SKF high-speed B design bearings, can operate at slightly higher speeds and accommodate higher loads. Because they are universally mountable, they can be mounted together in arrangements to effectively distribute the load, with a preload within a specified range, without the use of spacers or similar devices.
