Double-row angular contact ball bearings with a split inner ring correspond to a pair of single-row angular contact ball bearings arranged in an O-shape arrangement, but are narrower than a similar pair of single-row angular contact ball bearings. The split inner ring allows for a larger number of balls to be accommodated, with a larger contact angle, and provides high load-carrying capacity, especially in the axial direction.
