Self-aligning ball bearings with a tapered bore and seals on both sides have two rows of balls, a common spherical raceway on the outer ring, and two raceways on the inner ring. They are insensitive to angular misalignment of the shaft relative to the housing. The tapered bore simplifies installation with adapter/withdrawal sleeves. The integrated seal increases bearing service life by retaining the lubricant inside and preventing contaminants from the environment from entering the bearing.
